STEWARDSHIP
The story of God's love for us begins with the creation of life,
but it seems easy to take our very existence for granted.
Disciples revere life in its entirety because they recognize
the gift that it is.
It is the first gift we receive from God.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
Do you have any idea how much this parish is doing to make a difference in the lives of people?
You would probably be surprised to discover the degree of involvement our faithful
parishioners have in the life of our parish ministries.
I want to ask you to do something. On November 15th & 16th , those in our parish
who are responsible for these ministries are going to be presenting a Ministry Fair.
These great people have been working for many weeks to provide a fair that is going
to be festive, informative, and fun! I want you to do everything you can to be there.
The fair is a part of Growing Stewards, the initiative that we have been experiencing
during the last several weeks. As you visit the exhibits, you are going to see how
stewardship in action is allowing our parish to
minister to many people. I really think that you will be encouraged and excited to see
just how much is being accomplished. You will also have the opportunity to volunteer
to participate if you choose to do so.
You will honor those who have worked so hard to make this Ministry Fair possible with your attendance, and you will honor me as well.
